Decoda is proud to partner with the Vancouver Sun and the Province of British Columbia on Raise-a-Reader. The Raise-a-Reader campaign was created by the Vancouver Sun in 1997 to support literacy work by helping to increase awareness and raise money for children and family literacy programs in BC. With support from the Ministry of Education, the campaign has generated more than $18 million to support literacy initiatives in BC.
The Postmedia Raise-a-Reader campaign exists to empower today’s children and families with tools to improve their reading skills. These skills are the foundation for lifelong learning that significantly affects the quality of life and the health and social economic well-being of individuals, families and communities.
Proceeds from the Raise-a-Reader campaign support literacy programs for children and families in your community.
