In this TED Talk, children’s author Grace Lin makes the case for diversity in children’s books, stories that are mirrors of a child’s experience and stories that are windows to the world. She believes, “Books erase bias, they make the uncommon every day, and the mundane exotic. A book makes all cultures universal.”
