The Value of Dyslexia

Dyslexic brains have a different way of processing information. This results in a pattern of strengths and challenges that is different for each person with dyslexia. Although they have challenges with traditional learning such as reading and spelling, dyslexics can excel at other thinking skills, including creativity, critical thinking and communicating.
To bring awareness to the value of dyslexic thinking and its strengths and to change the perception of dyslexia as a disadvantage, Made by Dyslexia , a British charity, set up a pop-up Dyslexia Sperm Bank. They filmed the public’s reaction.
This charity also created The Value of Dyslexia, a report highlighting key facts and research into dyslexia and its unique thinking skills. Visit the Made by Dyslexia website to learn more about their work and view interviews with famous dyslexics.
