The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) is Canada’s public film producer and distributor. It’s a source of social-issue documentaries, animation, and digital content from a unique Canadian perspective. Until the end of June, NFB is offering free online learning resources for parents and teachers.

Parents have access to a collection of acclaimed NFB films and learning resources selected and organized for K-12 learning at NFB Education. In addition to playlists tied to school curricula (for ages 7 to 17) and weekly home-school activities, there are feature collections.

Find resources for National Indigenous History Month in the Indigenous Voices and Reconciliation channel and educational playlist and the Anti-Racism Playlist.

NFB is also offering a free CAMPUS subscription to all Canadian teachers. This online resource contains study guides, playlists, mini-lessons, and exclusive films.

While these are offered as learning resources for school-aged children and teens, there are lots of great opportunities for adults to watch, listen and learn.
