More Story Time Online
Today is World Book and Copyright Day!
Reading aloud to children is a wonderful way to share books. It’s a favourite activity at home. When read alouds are outside of home, they introduce new books, new voices, new ideas and new activities to children. With schools and public libraries closed, online storytime can help fill the gap.
We blogged about online storytimes earlier this month. As we continue to stay at home, here are five more virtual storytimes you might like to try:
Storytime from Space – Astronauts reading from the International Space Station
Storyline Online – a project of the Screen Actors Guild
Virtual Storytime – Vancouver Public Library (Check your public library to see if they have something similar.)
