Human Rights in BC

Did you know that British Columbia has an Office of the Human Rights Commissioner? The Office began its work in September 2019 with a mandate to address root causes of inequality, discrimination and injustice.

You may have seen their first campaign in the ‘Am I racist?’ posters on billboards, bus shelters and backs of buses throughout the province. This public awareness campaign asked us to reflect on our own inner biases.
