Hour of Code
Date posted: December 4, 2018
The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “code”, to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It’s now a world-wide event that takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week (this week!).
You’re invited to organize an Hour of Code activity. It can be any time, not just during this week. And, you don’t have to be an expert at coding.
To get you started there’s a how-to guide, including this video from 2015.
Browse the collection of one-hour tutorials for all ages and experience levels to find a fun, coding activity.
