Choices Reading Lists
Date posted: August 27, 2018
Every year, thousands of children, young adults and educators around the United States select their favourite recently published books to create three recommended reading lists, the Choices Reading Lists. These lists are used in classrooms, libraries and homes to help readers of all ages find books they will enjoy. Click the images below for this year’s lists.
Sometimes it’s not a new book that you want to read. Sometimes you remember a little bit about a book – a character, part of the plot, the colour of the cover – but the title eludes you. The librarians at your public library are a good resource for helping you find that book. Read The Crack Squad of Librarians Who Track Down Half-Forgotten Books for a story about New York Public Library’s “Title Quest”, to reunite readers with long-lost books.
