Written by Shantel Ivits, this set of six readers includes original, high interest stories written for adults. Each reader is available to download in several electronic formats, including editable formats you can customize. They are also available to purchase in hardcopy. This reader contains nine original stories about healing, discovery, survival, relationships, justice, and connections to the land explored through the lens of the plant world. This level 1 reader is roughly equivalent to beginner to grade 1.5 in the K-12 system.
