March is Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month!

Where does food come from? How can farming protect the environment? Who makes sure our food is safe? What about food waste? Answers to these questions and more along with teaching resources are available from the All About Food website sponsored by Agriculture in the Classroom Canada.

For BC specific information, visit BC Agriculture in the Classroom. In addition to teaching resources, there are links to a number of programs, including the School Fruits and Vegetables Nutrition Program. Browse the list of programs here. You may be eligible to apply.

Journey 2050 has now been adapted to a free home edition, Farmers 2050.

During Canadian Agricultural Literacy Month, there’s a contest for K-12 students. Click here for details.
