Would you like to help people in your program stay safe at work? Building Resilient Workers: Health and Safety at Work is an easy to follow facilitator guide designed to help you teach participants about:
-Rights and Responsibilities
-Hazards in the Workplace
-Workplace First Aid
Essential skills – reading, writing, and oral communication – are embedded in the health and safety content. All five modules take about 15 hours to complete, depending on the skill level and background knowledge of participants. The guide is designed to be used with the Health and Safety at Work participant workbook.
Building Resilient Workers: Health and Safety at Work is a collaboration between the BCFED Health & Safety Centre and Decoda Literacy Solutions. The project is funded by WorkSafeBC, which is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of BC.
A digital badge is available to participants who complete all five modules. To learn more, contact Margaret Sutherland.
