Building Resilient Workers: Health and Safety at Work. Facilitator Guide

Building Resilient Workers: Health and Safety at Work is a workforce literacy curriculum.

It consists of five modules that cover:

  • rights and responsibilities at work,
  • hazards in the workplace,
  • workplace First Aid,
  • ergonomics, and
  • workplace violence.

There are reading, writing and oral communication activities embedded in the health and safety content. The curriculum includes a student workbook as well as this facilitator guide.

This curriculum was developed by Decoda Literacy Solutions with the support of the BCFED Health & Safety Centre and WorkSafeBC.
