Using Twitter: workbook (Word)
Using Twitter is one of a series of field-tested workshops developed by the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy (CBAL).
This workbook supports a 3 hour session introducing adult students to the popular social media platform Twitter. Topics include an explanation of what Twitter is, how it works, basic features, and basic tasks (like how to edit your profile, post a tweet or find people and things to follow). Click here to access an accompanying lesson plan.
Students need basic skills before participating, such as knowing the basic parts of a computer (the screen, keyboard and mouse) and how to use a mouse (double click, right-click).
