Workplace Wednesday: Bullying and harassment

Since November 1, 2013, all employers in BC are legally required to take “all reasonable steps” to ensure that their workplace is free from bullying and harassment. The following video from WorkSafeBC outlines what is meant by bullying and harassment:
WorkSafeBC has developed an online tool kit to help prevent and address workplace bullying and harassment. Toward a respectful workplace is a handbook on preventing and addressing workplace bullying and harassment. Also included in the tool kit are animated videos, fact sheets, a small business guide, templates to help develop policies and procedures, a sample training presentation and posters.
