Today is National Child Day

National Child Day commemorates the adoption of both the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of the Child and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which contains 54 articles that describe the basic rights of children everywhere.
