Tech Tuesday: Using Twitter Workbook and Lesson Plan

Date posted: November 19, 2013

It’s Tech Tuesday, highlighting resources on literacy, technology, and the digital world.

We’re very excited to announce this new and latest addition to the popular Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy series of workshops on using computers: Using Twitter Workbook and Lesson Plan.

Similar in format to the other resources in this series, the Using Twitter Workbook supports a 3 hour session introducing adult students to Twitter. Topics include an explanation of what Twitter is, how it works, basic features, and basic tasks (like how to edit your profile, post a tweet or find people and things to follow). The lesson plan provides an outline for practitioners. Students need basic computer skills before participating.

The other workbooks and lesson plans in the series can be found here.

For more information on using Twitter, read our earlier blogpost on Twitter for Teachers.
