New in the library!
More than 100 ways to learner-centered literacy (2nd ed.) by Laura Lipton and Deborah Hubble (2009).
This book contains a variety of instructional ideas mostly targeted for K-6 use. The book is organized into sections that cover the five critical components of learner-centred education: designing a literate environment, orchestrating student interaction, developing comprehension fluency, nurturing lifelong learners, and assessing student growth. Many strategies may be adapted for use with adults.
