Are you working with adults who may have a learning disability?

Metro Toronto Movement for Literacy has created two resources: Finding Our Own Way: Adult and Learning Disabilities: A guide for finding learning success for adult learners and Toolkit: Current Best Practices and Supportive Interventions for Learners and Clients with Learning Disabilities for practitioners. While the services referenced are in Ontario, the basic information is useful in a number of contexts.

Decoda Literacy Solutions has a number of online resources on learning disabilities in adult learners from the Learning Disabilities and Whole Life Project. To view the resources, click here. The Decoda Library also has a substantial collection of resources on learning disabilities. Email library@decoda.ca for suggestions or to request materials.
