Learning Disabilities Awareness Month
Date posted: October 12, 2017
October is Learning Disabilities Awareness Month. It’s a good time to learn more about learning disabilities.
The following posters from the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario illustrate what learning disabilities can be like for adults.
Thanks to the LD and Whole Life Learning Project of Literacy BC, the Decoda Library has a substantial collection of resources around learning disabilities. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are looking for books on learning disabilities, including dyslexia, dygraphic, and dyscalculia.
And you can find the tools developed in the LD and Whole Life Learning Project on the Decoda website. Click here for the tools.
