Recently, Prosper Canada produced Financial Literacy and Newcomers to Canada, a brief overview of the financial literacy needs of those new to Canada. It mentions a number of financial literacy resources, including the following.

Financial Literacy for Immigrant Women is a program created by the Alberta Network of Immigrant Women in partnership with the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association. It was developed to help immigrant women and men make informed financial decisions and understand the basics of spending, saving, borrowing and investing to implement in their daily lives and plan for the future.

The manual includes twelve financial literacy modules, training in facilitation and public speaking, resources and evaluation tools. The field tested manual is available online.
