ESL Financial Literacy Toolbox
Date posted: November 13, 2014
The ESL Financial Literacy Toolbox was developed by Bow Valley College to help ESL literacy practitioners teach skills and share knowledge on using money wisely.
The topics include: money, household expenditure, grocery shopping, shopping, budgeting, banking, goal setting, credit and debt, savings, fraud, work, government, and starting a business. Each topic has materials and resources for Literacy Phases I, II and III. Along with downloadable resources, there are lesson plans and practical suggestions for using the material. This is one of the many excellent resources to be found on the ESL Literacy Network website.
