Are you looking for a team project for children that encourages curiosity, creativity, patience, flexibility, persistence, respect for others and their ideas, and collaborative problem solving?
Destination Imagination is an educational non-profit that develops project-based learning programs blending STEM with arts and social entrepreneurship. Each year new academic challenges are created. Students work in teams to research, design and build a solution to the challenge they choose. Opportunities are provided to showcase their work.
Parents and teachers have introduced this free program in some schools in BC. To learn more about Destination Imagination in BC, visit their website and/or contact Joan Vyner, the Destination Imagination BC Affiliate Director.
