The Chicago Public Library has something new to borrow – robots.
Donated to the library by Google Chicago, Finch Robots are designed to teach the basics of computer coding. They can be coded to move, make noises, light up and even draw. Library borrowers can hook the robots up to their home computer or laptop and download instructional tutorials from the Finch robot website. Some of the programming can be done by children as young as eight years old.
